Fent Fold

There are no plaques, no brochures, and no guided tours of the Fent Fold — a stretch of the Tenderloin where the raw, unvarnished reality of San Francisco hits you all at once. This isn't a curated art installation; it's the real deal. Foil origami, sidewalk still lifes, shopping cart architecture, and the kind of improvised street engineering that would make Rube Goldberg proud. It's beautiful and ugly and very, very alive. Visit with open eyes, no judgment, and good walking shoes.
